9 Months Old!

Uh, Mom? Do I get to play in it or am I just supposed to sit here and look cute?

We've made it to month 9 already! Wow! Time is really flying by. We had his 9 month check up today and I got to see in numbers why I am having trouble keeping him clothed. He weighs 20.3 lbs (50%) and is 30 inches long which is 97%, the height of the average one year old! It seems like he zipped through 3-6 months clothes into 6-9 and then straight on to 12-18 month clothes! All of his 9-12 month stuff never stood a chance. Maybe he's going to take after his Uncle Sam and Aunt Beth.

Enough stats! We did his 9 month photo shoot last night. He's not been feeling the greatest so we didn't get many smiles but he was a good sport about it. Especially when I let him play in his first mud puddle. I did get a little crazy with the edits in picmonkey. My mom recently told me that when I was little I liked to use rainbow colors when I drew, I guess I still have that tendency. *grins*

He didn't want to stand so here he is in the process of squatting, that's why his foot is all wonky.

Yep, I had to fish a rock out of his mouth after this one.
